Our awesome tutor Louise N takes you on a playful journey, exploring vocal tone. Through yawning and playing with the shape of the mouth, tongue and larynx, Louise demonstrates just what a versatile instrument the human voice is.
This is a must watch for all singers who want to have a better understanding on vocal tone and how to create different shades and timbres in performance.
We love the "aha" moments when some classic phrases from contemporary music are demonstrated with great clarity. Seeing the shape of the mouth and position of the tongue really helps to illustrate the approach of different singers!
Be warned, however. The exercise that Louise recommends for practice is highly addictive.
