Sales and Student Support Co-Ordinator

  • £16,000 - £18,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Full time – 35 hours p/week
  • Typical Working Hours – 9AM-5PM Monday – Friday

MusicTutors are searching for a driven and tech-savvy individual who can help establish a solid start-up as a big player in UK music education.

Responsibilities and Duties

Including but not limited to:

  • Talking to students and leading on sales, support and administration of music lessons on a national scale.
  • Working with our team of incredible tutors as they create profiles on the platform and build a body of students.
  • Contributing to and implementing marketing and communications strategies.
  • Being the key member of a small, agile team, taking on ad-hoc tasks to help make our community of students and tutors function seamlessly.
  • Forming strong relationships with everyone in our international community, helping to fulfil our vision of a world with more music in it.
  • Learning more and more about the digital world and equipping yourself with the skills to meet the challenges of the future.

You are:

  • Qualified to degree level - music or business specialism desirable. OR you possess equivalent experience in a similar office / creative working environment.
  • Experienced in working with customers. You have excellent communication skills across email, telephone and face to face which you can call upon from day one.
  • Ready to work in a dynamic, agile team where everyone helps and challenges each other. Our culture is hard-working, supportive, honest and open.
  • Digitally fluent – a master of basic IT office, SoMe platforms and email programs; a knowledge of video / photo editing and html / CSS would be an advantage.
  • A problem solver, when something goes wrong you don’t panic and can keep people on side whilst you figure out the solution.
  • Committed to safeguarding and child protection and will undertake the necessary background checks to satisfy MusicTutors policy in this regard.
  • Able to give and receive constructive and actionable feedback as we strive to continuously improve our work.
  • Positive. Forming strong, genuine relationships comes naturally to you.
  • A great learner, open about mistakes you make and inquisitive about better, more efficient ways of doing things. You don’t like to stay still!
  • Organised. You like lists, processes, systems and routines. Your attention to detail is second to none.
