About Ada H

Ada is a professional singer from Poland, graduated in Popular Music Performance (voice) from the Royal Northern College of Music. She also has a broad experience in violin - it was the first instrument she picked up when she was 7 and has been continuously playing and performing until now. Piano is another instrument she teaches - she has learning piano throughout her musical education that later helped her develop great and effective techniques to teach beginners.

As a vocalist and violinist Ada regularly performs in venues across the north of England, the UK and Poland, and as a passionate and extensively trained teacher she draws on her professional experiences to be a role-model for her students, listening to them, as well as learning from them on every step of their journey.

Ada is experienced teaching all ages as well as children with special needs like autism and communication difficulties. Her students range from 4 to 60 years old. It's never too early or too late to start enjoying music on different level by learning how to play an instrument.
Her approach is individual: she always tries to find the best ways to achieve goals and enable small and big successes with every student, based on their own needs. In Ada's opinion, students make the biggest progress when they are fully supported by their teachers at all times to experiment and gain necessary experience, as well as have fun and enjoy themselves in a safe learning space.

Teaching in vocals
As voice is Ada's main instrument, she teaches all levels, from complete beginners to advanced students, who are or aim to be professionals. She can prepare students to take examinations like Trinity, ABRSM exams etc.
Her motto is that everyone can sing, even if you think you can't, as each one of us has been given the same instrument which is our voice that we always carry with us and use it on daily basis. The key is to learn how to use it properly. She also believes in great health benefits of singing, that's why she always encourages everyone to sing, even if it's only in the shower or when nobody is listening ;)

Her lessons include:
- learning proper singing techniques and vocal vocabulary
- working on the songs
- working on musical stagecraft - vocal expression and performance
- learning microphone technique
- learning about different musical genres and and styles of singing.
