About Alzbeta T
Alžbeta is a professional vocalist, composer and lyricist originating from Slovakia. She is currently studying for a Masters degree at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, having completed her undergraduate studies at Leeds College of Music. She has received tuition from some of the country’s leading musicians and would love to pass her knowledge and passion for music onto her prospective students.
Alžbeta is a confident and empathetic educator, respecting students and treating them each as unique individuals. Her experience includes regular performances as a vocalist and a pianist from the age of 6, having worked with students of all ages in a number of music, primary and secondary schools, as well as having taught privately for the past 8 years. She is very passionate about nurturing her students’ love of music whilst instilling a good understanding of theoretical music.
Alžbeta has prepared her students for the following examinations:
ABRSM Singing up to Grade 8
ABRSM Piano up to Grade 7
LCM Popular Music Vocals up to Grade 8
LCM Music Theatre Vocals up to Grade 8
Teaching in Vocals
Alžbeta teaches vocals to students of all ages, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or advanced student.
The lessons include:
- Vocal technique (Breathing, body and muscle work)
- Musical expression and performance techniques
- Theoretical knowledge of harmony and rhythm put into practice
- Wide range of repertoire
- Optional combination of piano and singing
Teaching piano
Alžbeta teaches piano to beginner students and to students of intermediate level.
The lessons include:
- Note recognition
- Rhythmic devices
- Musical expression
- Accompaniment based on chord symbols
Teaching improvisation, composition and songwriting
On top of vocal/piano tuition, Alžbeta also offers lessons in improvisation, songwriting and composition techniques.
