She loves to inspire and motivate her students, helping them to express and display their creativity through music.

As a Vocal, Piano and Lever Harp teacher, Anna offers support across many skill sets ranging from beginners to the more experienced players. Having come from a classical music background Anna likes to focus on honing technique and theory skills to make sure that her pupils are firmly rooted in their primary knowledge. From there she likes to experiment with creativity and works hard to find the individual flare and style of each player. Lesson plans are flexible and unique to each pupil; leaving room for personal growth and experimentation.
In terms of learning styles Anna can teach in most genres such as Classical, Popular, Folk, Jazz and Musical Theatre. As a popular music performer she also likes to teach songwriting and composition in these styles through her lesson plans.
The first lesson will be based around getting to know each other both as people and creatives. Whether this is your first ever music lesson or a pre-conservatoire drop in, Anna likes to discuss music tastes, musical experience and our own individual voices. Moving forward, she will help you work on personal aims and pit-falls to find what sort of learning works for you.
Anna asks that beginners come prepared with a notebook and pen to use as a practice diary. She will then recommend books and materials to help lessons progress in the right direction.
