About Ami T

Ami holds a BMus in Violin/Composition from Royal Birmingham Conservatoire as well as a MMus in Jazz from Guildhall School of Music.

She is currently working a professional performer and teacher. She is the Aural and Choir specialist for a London Music Service, the specialist music teacher at a London Primary School and has a large number of private students. Ami also leads high level master classes throughout Europe.
She currently tutors in voice, violin, piano, music theory, composition and songwriting.

As a teacher Ami always tries to find what best suits the student. Enjoying your instruments should always be a priority. Having a good technique and posture is extremely important when learning an instrument. Her style of teaching is very much to do with what the student wants and expects to achieve. She often works with Grades of the ABRSM or the contemporary 'Pop and Rock' Trinity exams. She finds it a great opportunity to prepare material that is interesting and enjoyable.

Teaching in vocals
Ami teaches vocals for beginners and advanced of all age.

Vocal lessons with Ami include:

Ami teaches piano/violin for beginner to advanced students of all ages.

- Musical expression and stage presence
- Possible combination of piano and singing as well as how to work in an ensemble
- ABRSM EXAM preparation for Grades
