About Anthony T
As an educator, Anthony has taught at some of the most respected music institutions around the world (most notably SAE Australia, Nimbus Vancouver, Harbourside Institute of Technology Vancouver and Garnish London) teaching high end electronic music production techniques to beginners and seasoned pros alike. His success as an educator lies in his passion for unearthing and inspiring the creative pursuit. In his own words “As an educator I get to be part of the solution, not the problem”. At the tender age of 8 years old Anthony was introduced to an emergent sound that was taking over the world. This sound, which later became known as Hip Hop, was his first love and provided an urgent sense of purpose, strength and validity for this somewhat sensitive youth. From that point on his life became a devotion to that spirit, to that same affirmation of life that can only be found when a piece of music speaks to you, grabs you and lights you up from the inside out. This passion has taken Anthony all over the globe, performing, creating, educating, discovering new sounds and sharing his experience.
His passion is the production and performance of electronic music and his work has been recognised globally with numerous top 10 hits on Beatport, BBC1 support (Mista Jam), placements on top TV shows (Americas Next Top Model), collaborations with top worldwide talent (Bassnectar) and millions of hits online. But whilst commercial success is a key ingredient to his philosophy he feels its important to cultivate and nurture the creative spirit first as that brings its own rewards.
