Carina is an experienced singing and vocal coach with a background in jazz and classical music. She holds a degree in songwriting and has a wealth of experience in teaching singing and performance to students of all levels and ages. Carina offers a warm, encouraging learning environment where there is always clear, open communication and a great balance between focused pursuit of musical goals and having lots of fun! She has performed as a professional vocalist at venues such as The Savoy, The Marriott Hotel, Grosvenor Square, Mr Fogg’s Gin Parlour Mayfair and as a guest vocalist at The Imperial Hotel in Russell Square.

Teaching Vocals
Carina teaches vocals from beginners to advanced students of all ages.

Vocal lessons with Carina include:

Genre
Carina teaches (almost) all genres, but specialises in Latin and Jazz music.

First Lesson
Before the first lesson, Carina will make sure she understands the student’s needs and will provide a comprehensive outline of how the lesson will proceed. The lesson will begin with a brief chat and will then run at a pace that works for the student. Carina always takes a starting point in the student's own wishes and needs and it is very important that her students feel comfortable and at ease in order for the best learning to happen! Carina is a skilled tutor and is able to tailor repertoire and teaching style to best fit the individual.

Beginners
Beginners of all ages are most welcome to learn with Carina. She believes that anyone can learn music and her teaching has a proven track record of helping students to unlock their full potential. She can help with polishing your overall performance and preparing you for singing in a live band context.
