About David P.

David is a musician and instrumental teacher with ten years teaching experience and seventeen years of experience on Bass Guitar. He studied BA Music at University of Southampton since has been performing and teaching in schools alongside private tuition.

Bass Guitar is David's specialist instrument, but he also provides lessons for Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar and Ukulele to Grade 5 standard. He has ample experience with taking students for grades and is very familiar with Rockschool and Trinity Rock & Pop exams.

David is happy to take on students from 7 years old and upward and any ability. He likes to take a flexible approach to teaching and cater lessons to the desire of the student, alongside exposing them to unfamiliar styles of music and techniques to enhance their playing. David's aim is to make lessons equally challenging and enjoyable.

"Learning to play bass guitar and other instruments, and about music in general, has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. I have been lucky enough to have great teachers to inspire me and that is what I endeavour to be for those I teach."
