About Diana D

Diana is a passionate teacher with over more than 23 years’ of experience in teaching music and singing both in the UK and across the world. She has a suitcase full of tools and tricks to help her students develop in their vocal and musical abilities. Diana offers an enthusiastic learning environment where students can feel safe to learn and feel encouraged in their learning. Diana promises that lessons with her will be uplifting, challenging, inspiring, with a bunch of humor, enthusiasm and passion. Diana has masters degrees both in classical singing and in music education as well as degrees in psychosomatic and orthomolecular medicine. Therefore, she can offer an all inclusive package for singers: she can bring more depth in her lessons, bring singers on a higher level and coach with compassion. Diana has experience in teaching students from the age of 9 to 72, from beginners to advanced and professional singers. Diana is familiar with the application process for Conservatoires and Drama Schools, as well as graded ABRSM examinations; meaning she is well equipped to help those students looking to pursue a career in the performing arts

Genre
Diana is a specialist in Classical Singing, Bel Canto Technique but teaches all genres. When you implement the Bel Canto technique, she is confident and assured you’ll be able to sing until your 80’s. You’ll find vocal freedom, vocal health and enjoyment. The Bel Canto Technique can be implemented in all classical genres; Opera, Lieder and Oratorium as well as crossing over into pop music and Musical Theatre.

First lesson
Before the first lesson, Diana will make sure she understands the student’s needs and what they wish to achieve from their lessons, and she will provide a rough outline of how the lesson will proceed. The lesson will begin with a brief chat and will then run at a pace that works for the student.
