Teaching:
My attitude towards developing and progressing young musicians is for them to become the best individuals they can be through music. I take a holistic approach with all of my students. This means that success and progression can be defined in many ways. I have 100% distinction success rate of all students that have gone through grades, but I also see that each individual makes developments in confidence and discipline derived from personal progress outside of examinations.
What to Expect:
Expect to be able to play a well known guitar riff or sing and strum one of your favourite songs! If you are available for in person lessons expect lots of jamming and working through pieces of music in a very fun collaborative environment.
My favourite styles and forte are rock and pop in my musical career I have been apart of many rock and pop musical outfits most notably 2013 X Factor finalist Luke Friend and have toured Europe with the show.
I have a have a burning passion and deep love for Jazz and Country music and I spend most of my musical down time learning new jazz standards to practice improvising and listening to pedal-steel country guitarists as I find the style absolutely enchanting.
