About Jude T
Jude is a composer, lyricist and singer from Leicestershire. He is a classically-trained baritone, and since achieving his Grade 8 Singing with Distinction at the age of 16 he has gained a range of experience in teaching and working with other singers of varying ages and abilities, including on an individual basis and in group settings, facilitating choirs and group workshops.
He is experienced in working through a range of repertoire with students, including classical, rock and pop material, although he is particularly interested in musical theatre and acting through song - through his work as a composer, he has professional experience of working with actors with West End and international credits on workshops and productions in London and beyond, but he has also directed and musically directed a number of student productions, so is familiar with coaching younger singers and students too.
Following over 6 years of work in the third sector with mental health services, he has also developed a special interest in singing for wellbeing and promoting the health benefits of singing, and has previously facilitated singing workshops for adults with mental health difficulties.

Whether you’re a beginner looking to get started or a more experienced singer looking for a fresh perspective on your studies, he’ll work with you to establish what you want to achieve in your lessons, and tailor your lessons accordingly. You can also discuss working towards exams and performances if this is something that you're interested in. No matter what stage you’re at, all singing lessons will focus on developing good technique, building your confidence, exploring performance and expression, and ensuring you are singing safely, taking vocal health seriously.
