I am a trained Vocalist, having graduated from the Royal Northern College of Music with a 2.1 in BMus Popular Music. Previously, I studied at the BRIT School for two years. Throughout the past 6 years I have been trained 1:1 vocally to a professional level.

I have previous teaching experience with young children and high school school students (Year 10-11) having taught singing, guitar and piano. I am currently teaching at multiple music schools and have had success teaching different levels to all ages.

I am happy to teach singing from beginner to advanced level, and guitar & piano at a beginner level. 

I have had 6 years of professional vocal training in different styles varying from blues, pop, rock, jazz, etc. This training also focused on my vocal technique and understanding the anatomy of the voice.

I am currently a live performer in a band with many years experience in writing and performing songs.

For Piano I follow the ABRSM curriculum.
Guitar, I have taught RockSchool, but am also flexible to teaching other exam boards.
Singing, I have taught the LCM and ORANGE syllabus, however am able to teach others.

For your first lesson:

During our lesson, I will assess how familiar you are with your chosen instrument and will set tasks and exercises in regards to this.

Please bring along any books or pieces that you have worked on before. If this is your first ever music lesson, please could you think of any songs you like and would enjoy learning. I would love to find out what your favourite songs/pieces are and together we can master them!
