About Kasia H
Kasia is a musical theatre performer and vocalist based in West Yorkshire. She has been training in the voice for over 8 years now in the Estill technique. Kasisa has a Ba(Hons) Musical Theatre Degree from Arts Educational Schools London, which currently has one of the top Musical Theatre courses in the UK.
Kasia has performed as a soloist at some top venues in London; The Royal Albert Hall, The London Hippodrome, Trafalgar Square, The Actor’s Church Covent Garden and others. She is also a soloist on musical theatre albums alongside the likes of Ramin Karimloo, Lea Salonga and Sierra Boggess and most recently performed as a guest soloist with musical theatre leading lady Kerry Ellis. Kasia also performs regularly as a solo piano vocalist at Weddings, corporate events and small festivals.
Alongside performing Kasia is extremely passionate about passing her knowledge onto others and has been teaching for the past 4 years alongside training. She loves to help and watch her students develop in confidence, ability and creativity. Kasia is a great teacher as not only does she have a vast knowledge of the voice and the Estill technique, but she also takes the time to work with each individual pupil and to help them fulfil their personal goals.
Teaching in Singing
Kasia teaches singing from beginners to advanced students of all ages.
She plans her lessons specifically for each individual student and for what they would like to work on or work towards. Some of her pupils take lessons for fun and to simply grow in confidence and technique whereas others are preparing to audition for drama schools, for competitions/concerts, or exams.
Kasia works with her students on technique and how to sing and create sound in a healthy and sustainable way, without damaging or straining the voice. She teaches her pupils a variety of different techniques and skills which can be used to help increase vocal range and achieve the sound they are searching for.
Music theory and being able to follow sheet music is a huge benefit for singers and so Kasia also works with her pupils on learning to read and follow notation, making it easier for them to learn songs quicker and easier.
