About Kaya H-C
Kaya is an experienced singer, songwriter, festival director, harmony fanatic, vocal coach and self-confessed vocal geek singing teacher with a wide range of experiences and interests on and off the stage. She is a versatile, creative and hard-working individual with a genuine enthusiasm, not just for music and educating, but working with people. Kaya is positive and energetic, and enjoys working with a student-centred approach.
Kaya is devoted to artist development, songwriting and performance coaching, vocal habilitation and rehabilitation and singing teacher training and has, until recently, worked as a senior lecturer, vocal specialist and artist developer and promotion consultant at ACM in Guildford, Clapham and at Metropolis studios. She is also leading the vocal team at Bårdar Academy in Oslo, and has previously taught at LIPA (Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts), Popular Music Performance at University of Chester and been external examiner at Royal Northern College of Music.
Originally from Norway, Kaya has made England her home since 1999 and has become an established artist with a track record of performances from The Royal Variety Show to the BBC Songwriting Showcase. She has played alongside artists such as Bon Jovi, Ringo Starr, The Wombats, Marina & The Diamonds and more. Her wide range of experience in education and performance give her a unique skillset which she applies to helping singers reach their full potential.

- Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)
- MA in Performing Arts (Education) from LIPA
- BA (Hons) in Performing Arts (Music)
- Diploma in Popular Music & Sound Technology from LIPA.

Over the last 10 years Kaya has firmly established herself as a highly sought after vocal coach and specialises in artist development, technique, voice science, music direction, choir/vocal group work, songwriting support, performance coaching, peak performance and performance anxiety.
She teaches all levels, but her main body of students are professionals and semi professionals, vocal recovery-rehabilitation of the voice and audition training.
