About Stella T
Stella is a professional singer and singing teacher who trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, graduating with a First Class Bachelor of Music degree. She has a versatile background in music and performance, vocally and with different instruments and even on screen as an actress. Stella believes singing is a great way to relieve stress and boost confidence, no matter what your level and goal. Stella began her musical journey at the age of 5 with the violin, which she still plays and now also teaches for beginners. Over the years Stella has lived in various countries and can speak 6 languages, her own native Finnish and also English, Italian, French, Spanish and Swedish.

First lesson
The aim of the first singing lesson is for the student and Stella to have a short chat about what the student’s expectations and goals are, and what the student wishes to learn. Then Stella will introduce the student to some vocal warm-ups and exercises. If the student wishes, they can also bring a song that they know and can sing a verse of. This is for Stella to assess what the student’s needs are moving forward. Bringing a song is however not required if the student does not feel comfortable yet, as Stella can use other methods to assess the student.
It is important for Stella to tailor the lessons to every student’s needs and gradually build the student’s confidence and skills. Questions are always highly encouraged!
