Teaching in Violin
Zsuzsanna can provide a wide range of methods depending on the child's age and development. Lessons are an opportunity for each individual to decide whether they would love to make progress at their own pace, or work towards ABRSM grade examination, with a firmer but still enjoyable focus on preparation, a solid technique and a good tone. Zsuzsanna particularly enjoys starting students in their early years. Children at age 4 and 5 are very welcome. For those children and families who are thinking to learn outside the Suzuki approach I can provide other fun ways to learn violin such as the “Coloured Strings Method” based on easy ways and more colourful ways to read notation and have some fun. I can provide a lot of musical games as well as beginner music theory tuition in a fun way and in a fun environment. For those students who prefer a traditional approach, Zsuzsanna provides really nice books and backing tracks to help progress. Zsuzsanna believes that the best approach is based on love towards music and children: “Where love is deep much will be accomplished.” – Suzuki Shinichi-

Families are free to choose what approach is best for their children. Zsuzsanna welcomes open discussion about the method best suited to the individual and invites regular discussion with parents.
