Åshild got the opportunity to work in an educational environment from the age of 19, as an assistant and substitute teacher in a primary and secondary school between her studies. She has a Bachelor of Music, Performance and Production from Middlesex University. In 2015 she started working in Barking Riverside Secondary School as a visiting singing teacher and that's where she has truly gained her most valuable experience.

Åshild has performed since she was six, has classical and contemporary education, but she truly feel that she has learnt more about being a singer and musician whilst teaching singing. Working with such a wide demographic has taught her how to communicate with children and adults from different backgrounds.
She is currently singing in a Venezuelan folk jazz project, a Scandinavian a capella trio, and compose and produce music for her alternative pop project.
