With experience playing in rock bands, partnered with experience helping GCSE students reach their full potential, Ed is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to pick up the guitar with the aim of becoming a strong and confident performer and/or songwriter. Completing an undergraduate degree in music technology and popular music, Ed has a well-rounded wealth of knowledge on all the different aspects of what goes into creating and playing a song.

Ed will be focusing on genres such as rock, pop, metal, or blues, depending on your own preference. Want to learn the chords to your favorite pop song? Or learn how to solo to a blues backing? Things will develop based on your own style and taste.

First lesson
Your first lesson will focus on establishing what genres of music you'd like to focus on, and what you aim to achieve in the future with your guitar playing. On top of that, you will learn some basics of the guitar and choose which song you will like to start learning first.
