About Emma M

Emma is a recent graduate from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and has 4 years experience of teaching the Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute to children and adults of varying ages and abilities. Emma is a friendly, encouraging teacher who has led small ensembles in group workshops at Secondary schools and has also delivered a variety of workshops with the Ebony Clarinet Quartet in Primary schools.

Outside of teaching, Emma has a passion for Musical Theatre, playing reeds in musical productions across the UK. One of the highlights of this was playing at the London Palladium with the LMTO. She is also a founding member of the Northern Musical Theatre Orchestra, and helps to run this once a month.

Woodwind Lessons
Emma teaches Clarinet, Saxophone and Flute to all ages; from beginner to advanced.

Genre
Emma can teach all genres but specialises in Classical and Musical Theatre styles.

First Lessons
In your first lesson, Emma will work to your wishes and needs: making sure you understand the teaching methods; find some great repertoire to study and most importantly, have fun!

Beginners
For beginners and children, one should expect to buy educational materials for the lessons.
