Ron graduated from Utrecht Conservatoire (NL) in 2005 with an Honours degree in Jazz and Pop. Next to a flourishing career as a live- and recording musician he's always been a tutor. In the past two decades he has taught several hundreds of students on bass guitar (all styles), piano (jazz&pop) and guitar (pop&rock). Alongside he taught aural&theory, lessons in songwriting and coaching for many bands.

The content of the lessons is completely dependent on the wishes of the student and will be tailored to their specific needs. The lessons will include exercises to develop a good technique and posture and there's time for the necessary theory, but there's an emphasis on playing songs the student likes and developing improvisation and composition skills, which could include songwriting. Ron teaches bass guitar, piano, guitar and songwriting in the comfort of the student's own home or at his studio.
