Rosie is a very versatile teacher, as she modifies her words as needed to explain the techniques she’s teaching me. This is important so I can understand how to learn something new.

Rosie has been teaching my teenage daughter since last September, so it has nearly been a year! We are both very happy with her. She is very good at stretching her ability. My daughter has made a lot of progress since she started lessons with Rosie. It is always a joy to communicate with her as she is polite and easy to talk to.

Rosie! Rosie! Rosie! Well, what can I say?........ I started to have sax lessons with Rosie around October time I think. Lessons are scheduled with both parties' convenience in mind. Rosie is always punctual in starting and ending lessons. The first lesson we decided between us what I wanted out of the lessons and I can honestly say they are tailored to my needs and requirements. I started with a student alto and tenor sax I'd been given and have since progressed to a curved soprano and Bari sax - very different instruments but the same also. Rosie always listens to me and I get to play certain pieces in lessons along with being given "homework" to practice before the next lesson. I am lucky in that I could already read music so there is a lot I already know, but there is more that I've forgotten. Rosie makes it easy to learn and relearn principles of music theory coupled with practical playing. Rosie makes the lessons fun and is very engaging. A true "people person". I would recommend Rosie to teach someone saxophone, whether they've never looked at music before or whether they're returning to it. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with Rosie and hope to continue learning with her for a long time. xx
